I dunno Im kind of digging it, minus the communal bathroom and kitchen and also the kitchens being next to the toilet, its a minimalist way to live. As someone that has way more material objects and comforts than I need, this minimalistic lifestyle seems kind of appealing.

I lived in a space like this for 6 months in Taipei. It was maybe 4 feet wide and 20 feet long. Toilet under shower, but walled off. Bed and desk. Troublesome neighbors drove me nuts as the wall was very thin. Clean though. And very cheap. I spent very little time inside there, going out and just sleeping or studying at night.

It's dangerous even for health. Any apartment should have natural light source for desinfecting rooms. Second, certain room squares which allows to feel comfort and have enough good ventilation and air. Those coffin houses is deep step back,when our ancestors,poor ones had small two one windowed wood shacks. But i think they were even better about this. That is capitalism, you have not enough money=you don't have opportunity to live normally. So you should live in those coffin houses.

Just get eco friendly wood veneers, galvanized steel squares and borrow some screws from your aunt

Honestly, if I was in that situation, I'd just pack my things and leave this shithole and take a hike to the nearest village and seek shelter there. Look for some farmers and offer them help around the farm. I'd sleep in a barn and work just for the food, water and shelter in the beginning. Then something will eventually come up. But this thing here...that's no way to live a life. Can't even imagine the heavy toll it takes from your body and soul. Videos like these remind me how fortunate I am with what I have even if it's nothing special.
